Heirloom Throws
Creating unique memories..... Greyhound Affair has teamed up with a special team of artists and weavers to bring our customers some very special items to cherish.
These special WOVEN lap throws and tapestry throws are one of a kind works of art made from YOUR photo. Through a unique process, each throw is meticulously created one at a time and your image is “woven” into each piece, not stamped or screen printed on, thus creating an heirloom keepsake just for you. Made from 100% easy care cotton and in the USA, the throws can be machine washed and dried. Since each item is made one at a time, please allow at least 6 weeks for delivery via UPS.
NOTE: If you are having difficulty with the digital image requirements, please contact us via email Greyhound Affair has the capability of helping you with obtaining the correct requirements needed.
Digital image requirements are as follows:
minimum file size of 500 kb - maximum file size 6 MB.
Scanned images from original photograph MUST BE 300 dpi - JPEG only - quality at max. (12)
Digital Camera images require a minimum of 3 mega pixels, high resolution, file types: JPEG only - Quality at max. (12). Close up images create the best results with the subject using approximately 70 to 80% of the picture. Blurry images and multiple subject images should be avoided.

Color
Variations on Woven Products Please note that
when we create your woven tapestry heirloom, some color variation will
occur. The color variation occurs because the number
of color possibilities in our specially dyed yarns is less than
the number of color possibilities in an actual photographic image. When we
create your woven tapestry heirloom, we
select the yarn colors that most closely match the colors in your
actual photographic image. Woven tapestry products are less
precise than actual photographic images.

each wall hanging is meticulously created one at a time and your image is
“woven” into each piece, not stamped or screen printed on, thus creating
an heirloom keepsake just for you. Each elegant wall hanging measures
26” x 36” or 36” x 26”
depending on the photo, and is fully lined on the back with a rod pocket. To
complete the
display of your woven moment, each wall hanging includes a decorative metal
rod with
finials and hardware for hanging. Made in the USA. Please allow at least 6
weeks for delivery via UPS.
