QUILLED ART
The art of quilling is an ancient art of rolling small, thin strips of paper into shapes and adhering them together to complete a picture. Some believe it was created by Monks and Nuns back in the middle ages and some believe it was created during the Renaissance era.
Quilling is a very delicate and tedious form of art. It can be hard on the eyes and time consuming. Using acid free quilling paper of various widths and lengths, some of the pictures below have between 300 to 400 pieces to them and took over 60 hours to complete. All are signed by the artist. Each picture is a one of a kind unique piece of art and is guaranteed to be a conversationalist piece.

I got the picture this afternoon, it is
abszolutely gorgeous! I really didn't know what to expect and I must say the
pictures do not begin to do justice to this beautiful picture. It is hung in
my office. I'm doing my office in Greyhound art floor to ceiling and I
absolutely love it. Everytime I come in here I just look at all of my
beautiful Greyhound art and smile. Thank you so much for allowing me to
purchase your beautiful picture for my wall.

If you are interested in purchasing a Quilled Art creation by Greyhound Affair, please email. These works of art usually contain 300 to 400 tiny pieces of paper strips and pieces, all adhered together very carefully. Each one takes approximately 60 hours to create over a period of 4 to 6 weeks. Each creation is a one of a kind and can not be duplicated exactly. Some can be framed in a regular picture frame and some can be mounted in a shadowbox on velvet as a 3D work of art. Pricing varies but range anywhere from $100 to $150 a piece for an 8 x 10 creation.
